MEET JANET
Janet Weninger has proudly called Arizona home since 1996. She and her husband, Jeff, have built their lives in the East Valley, raising their three children in Chandler and serving the hard-working families in the community with awesome food and excellent service in their iconic restaurants.
Family and faith are the cornerstones of Janet’s life. As an ASU graduate with a BA in Political Science, combined with a degree in theology, Janet serves her community with passion and purpose to defend the voiceless and provide a path for the next generation.
Janet has proven herself as an advocate for children, families, and Arizona’s most vulnerable. At a time when Arizona’s foster care system was overwhelmed with record numbers of children, Janet worked side by side with the founders of Childhelp and the Department of Child Safety to create a safe haven for kids entering state care. She ensured that the most frightened and forgotten kids were met with love, dignity, and security during the most difficult transitions.
Janet has been recognized as a Childhelp Helping Hands award recipient (2017) for her advocacy and determination to improve outcomes for kids in foster care. She has spent nearly two decades working with organizations like Shared Hope International, Childhelp and the Starbright Foundation, fighting to protect children from trafficking, abuse, and exploitation.
Strong families, healthy communities, and a foundation in faith are the keys to lasting prosperity. Whether through her family, her business, and her advocacy, Janet’s mission remains the same: to improve the lives and livelihoods of all Arizonans.
